A&M vs Nebraska
Who between Aggy and Herbie has the better excuses? Which the more creative excuses? Clearly Aggy has more experience using excuses, but who puts more thought into them.

Do the words "Aggy" and "thought" belong in the same sentence??????

The Aggies excuses usually boil down to either the BOMC or the Refs were paid off. Nothing really original there. They haven't had an original excuse since the watered down field.

Nubb is still all wound up about the "extra" second in the CCG.....
Funny thing is they kept blaming the referee and claiming it was because he was a UT alum - they were quoting the NCAA rulebook that he is responsible for keeping the official time, and claiming how fishy it was that he was so quick to announce that the time would be reviewed.....only to find out that he was actually from Omaha....seems they were getting the supervisor of officials and the referee mixed up..... I've even heard some giggling about how Osborne is going to have the clock set to 15:01 when we go up there to play this year......

The rule is the rule. The Ref did his job, and did it properly. That's not to say we didn't get lucky, but in the end, the ruling was correct and Osborne needs to get over it....or have a stick broke off in his anal orifice, he can choose which, I'm just tired of all the whining.

Oh it was funny as hell in the beginning - but yeah, it's gotten old after 1000 or so times.....
It got to the point where some of them were even questioning whether it was "egregious" for 1 second to roll off the clock on a pass out of bounds, since it happens all during the game and they don't review and reset the clock for each one...... I never could get through to them the difference between 11:42 and 11:41 left in the 1st quarter and 0:01 and 0:00 in the 4th quarter......or at least they would never admit to understanding it......makes you wonder if the whole "N is for Knowledge" schtick is really a joke or not.....

Excellent point, my bad. I thought y'all would recall more Aggy excuses, surely there are more. The baseball ump comes to mind, but not his name? Slot?

Didn't sound quite right, so I checked Texags.comedy and after a full year they're still crying about Dave Yeast. http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.a...618&forum_id=8
