Why Baylor beats OU tomorrow night.

Four things:

1) Baylor runs the football 60% of the time. Their top two rushers average 9.1 and 8.1 yards per carry, respectively;

2) their top two wideouts average 23 & 25 yards per catch, respectively;

3) Their #11-ranked defense is a senior-dominated outfit. Seniors, 'backers Eddie Lackey & Brody Trahan; safety Ahmad Dixon; nickel Sam Holl; corners K.J. Morton, Demetri Goodson & Joe Williams; ends Chris McAllister, Terrence Lloyd.

4) Baylor has only turned the ball over 10 times this year. They have forced 15 turnovers from their opponents.

Ou can't make any mistakes, and they have to keep Baylor's D on the field. OU's defense is fairly salty (#10 overall, and rebounded nicely after the pounding they got in the Cotton Bowl), but the offense cannot match Baylor's.

Still, it oughta be fun. I think RC Horn is going; he can give a full report when he gets back~

I will be there. I can't wait to watch OU go down again.

I would like to see a bunch of 1-loss teams at the end of Big-12 play, with Texas sitting on top of the pile. Texas gave Ou their loss; I'd like to see Texas give Baylor their's (and maybe even Okie State).

We'll see.

Why Baylor does not win tomorrow.

1. They have beaten NO ONE.
2. They won't be the most talented team on the field.
3. Their defense while it looks good statistically, gave up 40+ to West Virginia. Imagine what OU will do to them.

MJ, you cannot go off another score like that. Baylor scored 70 plus in that game. Wv had 21 at the end of the 3rd qtr. Don't you think the defense let up a little and 2nd and 3rd teamers were playing. OU struggled with WV....only scored 16 points.....

Baylor will beat OU.

I was at the WVU game. WV scored on a muffed punt (hellacious wind made it hard to field) and it was 56-14 at the half. WV scored a bunch on the scrubs. This game could have been 120-21. Baylor's d was stout the entire first half except for 1 drive. The people around me kept saying "another West Virginia.....FOURTH DOWN"

As I stated in another thread, I think the land thieves whack them in the mouth, and they have no idea how to handle that. Their season has been too soft on them. But I will probably turn out to be completely wrong. However, ou has already come out flat once this year and it's not likely they will again.

If anyone wants an even money bet for OU to beat Baylor I will take that action for $28. That's my expendable income right now. Thanks a lot Obama.
